We are happy to announce that our hybrid re-entry heatshield experiment, has been selected for the REXUS/BEXUS program!
On November 28, 2024, team members Lukáš Hudáček, Patrik Rychtarčík, Jonáš Sarvaš, and Timotej Kojš became the first team from Slovakia to present the experiment proposal HARTS for a launch on the REXUS rocket at the selection workshop held at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in the Netherlands.
During the workshop, we attended informative lectures from experts about topics related to the program, such as project management, risk identification, documentation, requirements, constraints, and design. We also learned more about the REXUS/BEXUS program and all the amazing people organizing it.
A special thank you goes to the nice people of Project FENRIR for their help in the development of our experiment capsule and for allowing us to use their RMU Ejection System and to the Technical University of Košice for supporting us.
We are grateful for this opportunity to both attend this very educative workshop and to be a part of such an ambitious program. It was great meeting all the other teams and seeing their well-made presentations and creative experiment proposals.
